"Muted, Never Silenced" will always be a very special painting to me. She was the very first in my collection, '50 Shades of The Feminine'.
I truly believe that she embodies what is at the heart of being a woman. The #metoo movement really struck a cord in me, as it did many women, and it was from this fighting-back energy that I was moved to create her.
To me "Muted, Never Silenced" embraces and even celebrates the darker aspects of what it is to be female, as it highlights the inner strength and determination we possess.
She is strong, powerful and unbending - and for that I adore her!
