A Word From The Artist...

"Beyond The Stars" is my favourite from the '50 Shades of The Feminine' series I'm working on. 

This is the hardest painting I've done to date, and took me a whopping 10.5 months to complete! I knew exactly how I wanted her to turn out and wasn't willing to compromise until she felt perfect. 

She is mystical, ethereal and tranquil. She represents the astounding magic in all of us that cannot be contained, the mind-blowing potential each of us has that cannot be dampened or thwarted. 

I am literally OBSESSED with her and her energy. Her power is effortless and unfazed by her surroundings. I love the reminder of how inherently epic we all are.
